Four Years of College Yield a Beer Catapult
RENEE MONTAGNE, Host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
A young engineer just out of college used his education to bring back the good times. He's rigged up a catapult to his mini-fridge, a tiny elevator to carry the beers activate a doll with a remote control - and voila, a beer-tossing machine. It took Duke graduate John Cornwell 150 hours to build plus a few dented walls and a near collision with his TV. But now the fridge can launch up to 10 beers before reloading.
It's MORNING EDITION.
