On March 14, math lovers celebrate 3.14, or pi, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. You can help by crafting what we call a "pi-ku."
We've modeled this geometrically inclined verse form after the haiku. But instead of following the traditional pattern of 17 syllables, your pi-ku should consist of a three-syllable line, a one-syllable line, and four-syllable line.
Early entries include: "A constant/ it's/ transcendental," and "How I love/ my/ perfect circle."
On our blog, get cracking on yours.
