Postal Carrier Catches Child Falling from Window
STEVE INSKEEP, host:
Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep.
A baby in Albany, New York, was playing in bed. The bed was up against an open window - a second story window. The mother says she turned her back, and that's when the one-year-old girl climbed out the window and fell. She tumbled through space and landed in the arms of Lisa Harrell. She's a postal carrier who happened to be standing directly below and who delivered the baby completely unharmed back to her mother.
It's MORNING EDITION.
