Promoting Black Vintners One Glass at a Time

Though there are nearly 6,000 wineries in the United States, African Americans own fewer than a dozen.

Stephen Sterling is among that group, and he's on a quest to increase the number of black wine connoisseurs.

Sterling, co-owner of the family-operated Esterlina Vineyards, tells Farai Chideya how he got started and shares how his company has battled obstacles unique to black vintners.
