ROBERT SIEGEL, host:
Here's one note on how President Obama has been talking about the goals of his Cairo speech. He was interviewed earlier this week by France's Canal Plus TV.
President BARACK OBAMA: You know, one of the points I want to make is that if you actually took the number of Muslims Americans, you know, we'd be one of the most - largest Muslim countries in the world.
SIEGEL: And you can't hear there clear of the French translation Mr. Obama saying the U.S. would be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.
MELISSA BLOCK, host:
That surprised the reporters at our news blog, the Two Way, so they checked the facts. According to nationmaster.com, which gets its figures from the CIA World Factbook, at best the U.S. comes in at number 34 in Muslim population, that puts it just behind Kazakhstan. You could find the two way blog at npr.org.
