MARY LOUISE KELLY, host:
Good morning. I'm Mary Louise Kelly with news of a job opening. The town of Tar Heel, North Carolina is looking for a mayor. That's because the current mayor is moving away and no one in the town - 117 people - has filed to run in the next election. All three town council seats are wide open, too. That means come fall the ballot will appear blank, with room to write in someone's name. One catch: You do have to live within Tar Heel town limits to be elected.
