MONTAGNE: General Motors today announced it will shut down Saab. The move comes after yet another failed attempt to sell the struggling brand as part of GM's overall restructuring process.
Talks with the Swedish and a Dutch company both failed. A Chinese car company plans to buy some Saab technology. GM said it will honor Saab warranties.
