RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
Love will find a way, and hundreds of Canadians were hoping it would arrive via flittering. That would be flirting over Twitter. At Flitter parties across Canada last week, single were engrossed - not in each other - but rather in their BlackBerries and iPhones, as potential dates flashed by on giant screens. They were furiously typing away flitter-style conversation openers and hoping for a response.
It's MORNING EDITION.
