RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
A village in Germany is being plagued once again by a famous fetishist. Last year over 200 shoes disappeared from porches and garages and were discovered later by a forester in the burrowed tunnels of a fox. It's likely they're toys for cubs as the bite marks were made by little teeth. And the owner of the woods, Count Rudolph von Kesselstatt, theorizes the thief is a vixen, because no male would want that many shoes.
It's MORNING EDITION.
