GUY RAZ, host:
We're a day away from announcing the winner of the latest round of our Three-Minute Fiction contest. You sent us nearly 4,000 short stories this round. Each one had to include these four words:
Ms. ANN PATCHETT (Author): Plant, button, trick, fly.
RAZ: That's our judge this round, novelist Ann Patchett. To hear Ann read the winning story and to hear what happened to those four words, tune in tomorrow same time same place.
