RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
An octopus named Paul may be a psychic when it comes to the World Cup. The deep sea seer, now residing in an aquarium in Germany, has correctly predicted both of Germany's games: its win over Australia and its surprise loss to Serbia. The octopus doesn't need to get its arms around a crystal ball. Rather he chooses winners from two boxes of treats with the flags of the opposing teams. His latest forecast: Germany will beat Ghana in today's game.
It's MORNING EDITION.
