Mazda Recalls 6,500 Sedans Because Of Spiders Mazda is recalling the cars because spiders have been found to weave their webs in a vent connected to its fuel tank. The webs could block the ventilation, which could lead to a fire — though no fires have been reported. Company officials don't know why the spiders chose the Mazda6 models to make a home.
