SUSAN STAMBERG, HOST:
When "Mad Men" returns tonight, there won't be one piece of office furniture out of place or out of time. Creator Matthew Weiner's famously devoted to historical accuracy. Each ashtray must gleam exactly as it would have in the '60s - no more, no less. Well, a few meticulous critics previewing tonight's premiere found an inconsistency in one of the episode's songs. Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "The Look of Love" is a classic, but not quite classic enough. The steamy hit was released six months later than the date of the episode in which it appears. "Mad Men's" scrupulous creator, Mr. Weiner, changed the song to something more appropriate. But that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a little Dusty Springfield right now.
