The entertainment competition for the movies this weekend, Sunday's Super Bowl. It's the most anticipated sporting event of the year, also probably the most expensive. Tickets for the game are priced as high as $11,000 online. Not to mention the cost of hotel rooms and plane tickets, and face paint. Well, with all this, if you live in or around Phoenix, the Super Bowl can also mean super bucks.

Mr. JOSH PENTLAND(ph): My name is Josh Pentland. I am in Phoenix, Arizona.

CHADWICK: We came across Josh on Craigslist. He's a DUI counselor who was offering to be a designated driver.

Mr. PENTLAND: I got a call from a guy from Boston. He's basically looking for somebody to pick him up at the airport and to drop him off at the Super Bowl and then pick him back up. And he just wants to make his 11:00 flight.

CHADWICK: And the price - $400. But what the heck - having a couple of brewskies while watching Teddy Bruschi and the Patriots go for perfection, that's got to be priceless.

Mr. CARLOS MORALES: My name is Carlos Morales. I live in Gilbert, Arizona.

CHADWICK: Carlos is offering his services as a driver too, and his house for rent on Super Bowl Sunday. He's a loan officer. His wife is a realtor. Arizona is one of the states hit hardest by the foreclosure crisis. Carlos and his family are having trouble too.

MORALES: I'm behind on my payments. I'm not proud about that. That was when I just let somebody live in my house, just so that I can catch up with my payments on the mortgage.

CHADWICK: So Carlos posted an ad for his place on the weekend on Craigslist. Five bedrooms, Jacuzzi, swimming pool - all for $1200.

MORALES: Basically, you know, I never got a call. There were four thousand ads in the paper, and that's just one of the Web sites.

CHADWICK: And now what about the millions of you watching this game at home?

Mr. GIDEON KOTZER (Crazy Gideon): My name is Gideon. I'm from Crazy Gideon, and we are crazy. Why crazy? Because my price is crazy.

CHADWICK: That's crazy Gideon Kotzer. He's really a Los Angeles institution. He sells televisions on local commercials that feature Crazy Gideon wearing a straightjacket.

KOTZER: Christmas was a disaster, was no - no business. People have no money. It's terrible. I have a lot of people out here that are losing their homes.

CHADWICK: The good news: sales of TV sets in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl are way up, Gideon says his sales up at least 20 percent in January.

KOTZER: But if I don't deliver before the Super Bowl, they cancel their order and stuff like that.

CHADWICK: Just one thing. No returns, he told us, because that would be crazy.
