STEVE INSKEEP, Host:
Today, the Supreme Court decided not to take another case. It involves two Chinese Muslims who were detainees at Guantanamo Bay. The Chinese men were captured in Pakistan, and an American Judge has already ruled that they were detained by mistake. Now, the Bush administration cannot find a country that will take the men. If they're sent back to China, they might be persecuted, and they cannot stay in the United States, according to the U.S. Their lawyers asked the Supreme Court to consider this case, but the court declined.
