If your child had plans to play a comic superhero for Halloween, you might want to steer them away from the children's book mock hero, Captain Underpants. Three girls at New York's Long Beach High School wore beige leotards under white briefs for the school's Superhero Day.
The red cape was okay but the rest not so super. Their principal sent them home to change and decreed costume or no, underpants in the hallway are unacceptable. This is MORNING EDITION.
