The former CEO of Computer Associates, Sanjay Kumar, was sentenced yesterday to 12 years in prison. He was also fined $8 million for securities fraud and obstruction of justice at the company he helped to build. At one point, CA, as the company is now known, was the second-biggest provider of software for the world's mainframe computers.
