STEVE INSKEEP, host:
Good morning, I'm Steve Inskeep with congratulations to Ed O'Neill. He works for the Chamber of Commerce in Iowa, and that's where a co-worker told him a story about the lottery. It was about some idiot who failed to turn in the winning lottery ticket. That was the story that prompted Ed O'Neill to check the numbers on his own lottery ticket, after which he announced that he was the person described as some idiot. His embarrassment was relieved by the $800,000.
It's MORNING EDITION.
