RENEE MONTAGNE, host:

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.

Is it a bird, a plane? Could be, depending on how Cindy the poodle is groomed on that day. Sometimes the dog looks like a dragon, with green, spiked fur. Other days, she could have fur humps to look like a camel. And Cindy's been turned into a bird more than once - peacocks, chickens, you name it. It's called creative grooming, and Cindy is a champ at contests. Though most days, says owner Sandy Hartness, Cindy just goes around as a plain old pink poodle.

It's MORNING EDITION.
