MICHELE NORRIS, Host:
There is one store that won't be offering layaway this holiday season, Nordstrom. But here is something that Nordstrom is offering, the ultimate gift for the ultimate consumer if he or she is still out there. Never mind the economic downturn, the Seattle-based department store is optimistic that someone out there will spring for the items featured in its first ever "Ultimate Gift Collection" - a $50,000 family portrait shoot with celebrity photographer Sam Jones, for example, or how about a $15,000 armoire filled with clothes, shoes, and handbags from contemporary designer Juicy Couture.
Mind you, these are bargains compared to the wow collection of gifts offered by the even more upscale Neiman Marcus. There you can fork over $120,000 for his and her life-size Lego replicas. Yes, you heard that right. You and your loved one can be immortalized in little, teeny, tiny Lego bricks.
